“After living in our home for 10 years we decided it was time to improve the backyard by replacing our existing patio with a covered outdoor kitchen. This was a major adventure for us and I had my concerns because I truly enjoyed the existing yard. After using the new space for over a year now my only regret is not doing this addition sooner.

Eric was extremely helpful in developing our vision. He took all the elements we listed as “must haves” and patiently designed and redesigned the plan into what we wanted and met our budget. I am a visual person and appreciated Eric taking the extra time to physically layout different design options in the yard using patio furniture and potted plants to establish the physical borders of different design options. He answered all questions we had on topics from materials, cost options to drainage issues. When the actual construction began Eric was there throughout the project. When Eric was not there I had total confidence in his crew who were professional and extremely competent. I appreciated the open communication we had with Eric and his crew. Few decision were made on the project without our input.

In addition to building us a wonderful structure Eric helped design and install the flowerbeds that tie the entire backyard together. He even allowed a special space for the kids “Charlie Brown” pine tree. Despite our best efforts “Charlie Brown” did not survive the transplant and Eric helped us replace it with our new “Cousin It” pine tree which is a welcome addition to the yard.

Eric helped us create an outdoor space we use almost daily. The construction portion moved alone timely and we could not be happier with the finished product.
